The presentation of new gaming smartphones from Honor took place and they are called Honor Play 4 and Honor Play 4 Pro. The company, as usual, delights its fans with excellent smartphones at affordable prices, but now Honor intends to concentrate on the gaming segment. Oddly enough, the concept of "gaming smartphone" in the company is completely different. The usual design, not quite powerful hardware (unlike the Pro version), but still new smartphones can not be called ordinary. So, let's move on to the characteristics.
Honor Play 4 received a Dimensity 800 chip with 5G support and a Mali-G77 MP4 video accelerator, which already makes the smartphone a little gaming. In addition, there is an advanced liquid cooling system. RAM gave 6/8 GB and a constant 128 GB, a battery capacity of 4300 mAh and fast charging at 22.5 watts. The display has a diagonal of 6.71 inches, FullHD+ resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 60 Hz, the frequency of the sensor layer is 120 Hz. There are 4 photomodules on the back cover: the main one at 64 megapixels f/1.89, the wide-angle at 8 megapixels f/2.2, the macro module at 2 megapixels f/2.4 and the depth sensor at 2 megapixels f/2.4. The front camera received a resolution of 16 megapixels. The smartphone works on a proprietary shell Magic UI 3.1. Prices for Honor Play 4 are: $253 for 6/128 GB and $281 for 8/128 GB.

Honor Play 4 Pro received a display with a diagonal of 6.57 inches, a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a battery capacity of 4200 mAh, fast charging at 40 watts. They also installed a Kirin 990 chip with a Baron 500 5G modem. The RAM was given 8 GB of LPDDR4X format, a constant 128 GB of UFS 3.1 format. In addition, the smartphone received: NFC-module, a fingerprint scanner, which is located on the side, an infrared sensor, which is able to measure temperature with an accuracy of 0.1 °C. On the back cover there are only 2 photosensors: the main Sony IMX600 at 40 megapixels, a telephoto at 8 megapixels with support for 3x optical zoom and 30x digital. The front camera also has 2 32MP and 8MP photo sensors. Honor Play 4 Pro will be sold in two versions, the first with a thermometer for $422, and the second without a thermometer for $408.
